As for the story, the film is based in the early 60s and looks at the life of an actor and his stuntman, who struggle to make a name for themselves after acting on television. The story has multiple twists and turns and some wacky action too!
3. Raazi
Raazi is the story of an Indian spy who enters Pakistani territory after marrying one of their army generals. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role, a role different from her usual ones. Raazi will take you through multiple scenes full of suspense and also bring you to the edge of your seat. It is a thriller that should not be skipped.
4. Tumbbad
Set in Maharashtra, between 1918 and 1947, Rahi Anil Barve’s first film follows three generations of a Konkanastha Brahmin family in search of an ancestral treasure that has been bewitched by the gods. And unlike many others on the list, this thriller has a horror movie feel to it. Either way, this is one of the deadliest Bollywood horror thriller movies and one you should binge on ASAP.
5. War
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff take center stage in this film. The story revolves around their partnership and animosity, which intensifies as the film matures. Roshan looks absolutely ripped and if you missed this movie in theaters you must watch it on Amazon Prime Video.
6. Knock Knock
This one is a little different from the rest of the thrillers on the list. Knock Knock has Keanu Reeves in the lead role. The film speeds up as the story progresses. Keanu, who plays the role of a devoted father and husband, opens his door to two daughters who claim to be stranded. However, things take a bizarre turn as they start to woo him and blackmail him.
7. Talaash
Talaash chronicles the life of a policeman, played by Amir Khan, who faces the death of his son, while also trying to solve the case of the mysterious death of an actor. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukerji are seen in supporting roles in this one and it’s a mystery that is unsolved until the very last scene. If you’re into thrillers, this is a movie that should be on your watchlist this week.
