Things go awry when the son-in-law’s secret gay lifestyle is revealed. 5. Ombatthane Dikku (2022) — Amazon Prime Video

Located in Bengaluru, the local mafia boss sends his trusted lieutenant to cut a deal. However, things don’t go well when he never returns. This underrated thriller is a crime drama that shows the truth about middle-class life, hits the right shots, and keeps you hooked until the end.

6. Amir (2008)—Netflix

In this sleeper hit that deserves multiple awards for being such an underrated thriller, the family of an ordinary office man is kidnapped by terrorists. They make him do what they want: plant bombs in the city and if he doesn’t, his kidnapped family will be executed. A real race against time, it’s a biting thriller.

7. Smart (2021) — Amazon Prime Video

In one of the most underrated horror and thriller films made by the director of Conspiracy, an ordinary woman is threatened by visions of strangers who seem to be looking for her. A weird ball of energy, this film is not for the faint-hearted.
