9 thrillers on Netflix Canada that will blow your mind

Admittedly, I find it difficult to pay attention to films. I often put Netflix on in the background while I work and don’t watch the movie on screen at all. Once the movie was over, I couldn’t even tell you what the plot was about or the names of the main characters.

In order to capture my attention, the plot of a film must be really exciting. Something about thrillers never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat and constantly wondering what happens next. If you’re the type who needs an interesting plot, here are some amazing recommendations to watch on Netflix Canada:

1. Creep (2014)

This film is not only exciting, but also quite unsettling. It follows the story of a filmmaker who starts working with a client who has some interesting requests, and to make matters worse, he may or may not be a killer. You’ll continue to feel the tension long after the final credits roll, and as a bonus, there’s even a sequel to follow it.

The Invitation was created by the same filmmaker as “Jennifer’s Body”, so you should definitely have high expectations for this one. After the death of his young son, Will, played by Logan Marshall-Green, is invited to a special dinner by his ex-wife. Instantly, Will has suspicions about his ex’s new wife, and the other dinner guests are acting particularly strange. As the film progresses, Will begins to wonder if he’s succumbing to paranoia or if the party really is as weird as it seems.
