HIT Twitter Review: Fans hail Rajkummar Rao’s performance in thriller

Rajkummar Rao-starring HIT: The First Case hit theaters on July 15. The film is the remake of the 2020 Telugu hit of the same name. Sailesh Kolanu, who directed the original, also directed the Hindi version of the film. The film, which follows a cop in search of a missing woman, also features Sanya Malhotra. The film received a mixed response from viewers.

Another user called the first half of HIT engaging. “#HitTheFirstCase misses the mark in the climax. @sanyamalhotra07 deserves more screen time. Giving HIT a thumbs up, a Twitter reviewer called it an excellent remake of the Telugu version of the film. “#HITTheFirstCase Review: This is how you should remake a great crime thriller Rajkummar Rao, bhai ye batao ki ye banda kabhi bekaar acting karta bhi hai kya. Overall a good thriller original chahe HIT dekhi ho ya nahi (sic),” the tweet read.

A movie buff watched HIT in Doha. He took to Twitter to praise the film. “I saw the movie #HITTheFirstCase at @NovoCinemas in Doha. Great performance by @RajkummarRao. Good thriller lately. Keeps you engaged and involved throughout. Directed by @KolanuSailesh. Nice to see @SanjayNarveka13 on screen after a long time (sic), wrote the Twitter user.

ABOUT HIT – THE FIRST CASE

HIT – The First Case is the 2020 Telugu hit remake of the same. The film is directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, who also directed the original. The Telugu film HIT starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the lead roles. The film follows a cop who searches for a missing woman. The Hindi version is funded by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar and Kuldeep Rathore of T-Series. As HIT is a massive investigative franchise in the south, the makers plan to give the Hindi remake a similar spin on a bigger canvas. In the Hindi remake, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the lead role of the policeman.
