Murder, mystery and chaos with Bedfordshire Central Libraries

Join the Bedfordshire Central Council Libraries in November for their first ever Crime Literary Festival as they go crazy for crime with contests, quizzes, reading challenges and author events.

The festival will feature many fun activities and events, all related to crime stories and suspenseful stories.

There will be competitions, quizzes and reading challenges for adults in libraries with plenty of opportunities to win freebies, meet popular perpetrators and get books signed.

So whether you like a good psychological thriller, a classic thriller, or just want to try something new, there will be a lot of cool stuff going on.

Councilor Ian Dalgarno, executive member of community services at Central Bedfordshire Council, said:

“We are delighted that so many great authors are joining us for our Crime Literary Festival.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to meet some of our local authors and participate in exciting contests, quizzes and reading challenges.

“We hope the events will encourage new residents to discover our libraries and inspire more people to appreciate a good book. “
