New Gothic Horror Movie ‘What Josiah Saw’ Is Coming To Shudder
Shudder heads south for his next horror offering.
What Josiah Seen– which had its world premiere last year at the Fantasia International Film Festival – will begin streaming on Shudder later this year, according to a report on Deadline. Check out the moody image from the film on this page.
The thriller – described as a “southern gothic horror movie” – is directed by Vincent Grashaw (Cold water) from a screenplay by Robert Alan Dilts (Eliki).
The cast includes Robert Patrick (the terminator), Nick Stahl (Peach Town), Scott Haze (Child of God) and Kelli Garner (horns).
What Josiah Seen revolves around “the haunted Graham Farm on Willow Road,” according to the logline, which has “a bad story.” Josiah (Patrick) and his youngest son, Thomas (Haze), are all that remains of this estranged family.
But, “after experiencing terrifying visions of the afterlife, Josiah decides they must change their ways to right a great wrong.” Josiah’s eldest children – Eli (Stahl) and Mary (Garner) – are “encouraged to sell the property and reunite at the old farmhouse to close this haunting chapter in their lives. The sins of the past will be fully repaid.
The film – from Randomix Productions – is produced by Grashaw, Ran Namerode, Bernie Stern and Angelia Adzic, with Haze and Cole Payne serving as executive producers.
