New trailer for Thai-Korean horror film “The Medium”, from the directors of “The Wailing” and “Shutter”
Thai Banjong Pisanthanakun and South Korean Na Hong-jin have teamed up to create the film “The Medium”, a chilling new entry into the horror genre.
About the film: “The Medium” revolves around a film crew accompanying a Thai shaman to document the passage of the mystical lineage between generations, according to Hollywood journalist.

The film premiered on July 11 at 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, where he won the award for “Best Film”.

The film was officially released in South Korea on July 14, where it became the 6th highest grossing Korean film from 2021.

Although its US release date has not been announced, international rights to the film have reportedly been secured by independent sales company Finecut, reported. Variety.
